Blackpool are sweating on the fitness of on loan midfielder Barry Bannan after he suffered a suspected fractured toe.
Bannan, who has impressed since arriving on loan from Aston Villa, picked up the injury during Saturday's defeat against Leicester City and is now facing a spell on the sidelines.
The Seasiders are now waiting to discover the full extent of the damage but there is a possibility that Villa may recall the youngster so he can undergo his rehabilitation in the Midlands.
The midfielder is a definite non-starter against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night but Ian Holloway will be hoping it is nothing serious.
