Top scorer Kevin Phillips could return to boost Blackpool's attacking options for the npower Championship visit of Leeds.
Hip and ankle problems have prevented Phillips from adding to his 17 goals this season in the Seasiders' past four games, but the veteran striker trained on Monday and is expected to be named among boss Ian Holloway's substitutes. Phillips will probably be joined on the bench by Mark Halstead, with Holloway breaking from his usual policy of not naming a second goalkeeper in the matchday 16 as first-choice keeper Matt Gilks suffered a knee scare against Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Gary Taylor-Fletcher returned from a shoulder injury at the City Ground and is expected to continue in attack alongside on-loan Swansea forward Stephen Dobbie after suffering no reaction to the problem. Fellow striker Roman Bednar (knee) remains on the sidelines, while midfielder Keith Southern serves the second game of a three-match ban following his Easter Monday red card against Barnsley. Play-off-chasing Blackpool are fifth in the Championship with three games remaining, two points clear of Middlesbrough in seventh.
