Kevin Phillips is a major doubt for Blackpool ahead of their Capital One Cup tie at home to Morecambe on Sunday.
The veteran striker is expected to miss the game with a hamstring problem which leaves manager Ian Holloway short of attacking options.
Lomana Lua-Lua, Roman Bednar and Brett Ormerod have all left the club since May's play-off final defeat, leaving Holloway with only three fit strikers to choose from.
New signings Jake Caprice, Isaiah Osborne and Tiago Gomes will all be hoping to make their competitive debuts for the club, adding competition for places in the midfield.
Scott Robertson became Holloway's fourth transfer of the summer after leaving Dundee to sign a two-year deal at Bloomfield Road.
Robertson is expected to fill the void left by Keith Southern, who joined Huddersfield over the summer.
