Seasiders boss issues Addicks warning

Blackpool, 17:18, December 4, 2008 ,

Simon Grayson has warned his Blackpool players not to be complacent ahead of Saturday's home clash against struggling Charlton.

The Seasiders boss is looking for his side to start picking up more points at Bloomfield Road and build on last week's 2-1 win at Plymouth. And with a bottom-three Addicks side, without a manager following the recent sacking of Alan Pardew, up next on home soil it would be easy for the Blackpool players to feel they just have to turn up to claim the points.
However, Grayson said: "Just because they are a team below you, you maybe think that you have got a given right to win it, but Charlton are a good team.
"They've got some fantastic players and individuals who have played at the highest level, so we know it's not going to be an easy game.
"But if we play anywhere near as we can play and work as hard as we can do, then we've got a good chance of winning it."
