Hameur Bouazza is struggling with a groin injury and is touch and go for Saturday's clash against Ipswich Town.
The 24-year-old has been struggling with a niggle in his groin since returning from the African Nations Cup and says he wants to get back to full fitness as soon as possible.
The Algerian international wants to help Blackpool finish as high as possible before jetting off to the World Cup but he has to get rid of his groin injury first of all.
"Its not possible to play with a small injury so I need to be fit to play and help the team," he revealed. "I just want to finish the season really well with Blackpool to get where we want and then go to the World Cup and do well there as well."
Bouazza now faces a race to be fit for weekend but boss Ian Holloway will not risk him unless he is 100 percent fit.
