Blackpool face an anxious wait over the fitness of Alex Baptiste after picking up an injury in training in Latvia.
The full-back, who has started the first three Premier League games, has been forced to return home early after suffering a hand problem following an accident on the training ground.
Baptiste is set to undergo scans on the injury amid fears he may have broken his hand, but already the defender looks to be a doubt for the clash with Newcastle on September 11.
Ian Holloway is concerned, telling the Blackpool Gazette: "We think Alex may have fractured his hand which would be a big blow, but we will find out more over the weekend."
