Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has beaten the loan transfer deadline to snap up Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan.
The highly-rated 19 year-old, who is a Scotland Under-21 international, has impressed Holloway's scouts and will stay with the Seasiders until January 30th.
The diminutive playmaker could make his debut in Monday's home derby clash against arch rivals Preston.
