Blair relishing crack at Football League
Blue Square Premiership,
York forward Matty Blair is relishing a crack at the Football League after firing his side to play-off glory at Wembley.
Luton took an early lead in the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off final but York hit back through Ashley Chambers, before Blair struck a second-half winner to seal a return to the Football League after an eight-year absence. The 2-1 win completed a Wembley double for York, who won last weekend's FA Trophy final.
"It feels amazing (to be playing in the Football League next season) but it hasn't really sunk in yet," said Blair after Sunday's Conference finale.
"It'll properly sink in later tonight or tomorrow when we will be celebrating it again but at the moment I'm a bit tired but I'm the happiest man ever."
