Former Luton Town striker Tom Craddock has tipped manager Paul Buckle to lead the side to promotion this season.

Buckle took over at Kenilworth Road in April, following the departure of Gary Brabin, and proved an instant success by guiding the team to a play-off place. The Hatters beat Wrexham in their play-off semi-final and will now face York City for the chance to return to the Football League. Craddock, who played for the Hatters between 2009 and 2010, says he always believed Buckle was the right man for the job and is confident that he'll lead them to promotion glory. "When he took over, I knew he'd get Luton playing well because they (Torquay) got to the play-offs last season," he said. "Gary Brabin did a good job but it's been quite a nice transition in the seven or eight games, it has turned out really well."
