Fleetwood Town have got their summer transfer activity underway after signing Chris Maxwell and Alex Titchiner.

The Cod Army will play in the Football League for the first time in the 2012-13 campaign after winning the Blue Square Bet Premier and are now making the most of the success by bringing in new faces.
Goalkeeper Maxwell joins Highbury Stadium from Wrexham where he made 10 appearances last season while Titchiner, who was named Evostik First Division North player of the year after scoring 39 goals for promoted Witton Albion, signs as a replacement for Jamie Vardy who joined Leicester for a six-figure sum last week.
Titchiner, a former Crewe Alexandra academy striker, told the club's official website: "I'm chuffed to bits to be signing here today.
It's been a hard two years since I left Crewe being a young pro there. I've had to work at it and I'm delighted to be here today to sign."
