George pleased with options

Cambridge boss Jez George says he is spoilt for choice ahead of Saturday's Conference opener away at Forest Green.

Tom Elliott and Sam Smith scored in Monday's 3-1 win at Bury Town and pressed their claims to be involved in the first game of the Blue Square Bet Premier campaign.
With several options across midfield and up front, George admitted he will still be searching for his best side during the opening weeks of the season.
"What I think we've got to get in our minds is that the best 11 for Saturday isn't necessarily the best 11 for Tuesday against Lincoln," he said.
"It also means the team that starts on Saturday isn't necessarily the same that finishes because we should have options from the bench.
"It's good to have options in the squad which mean that that 11 doesn't pick itself, which it did at the start of last season."
