Cambridge manager Jez George was keen to deflect criticism away from his players following Saturday's 4-1 home defeat by Wrexham.

United left the Abbey Stadium to boos as they suffered their heaviest loss since George took the reins last year. The defeat was Cambridge's third in four games and left them without a win in five.
The U's boss took full responsibility for the latest reverse and raised questions over his ability to lead the side.
"I'm not going to stand her and make excuses. I'm not going to analyse the match in five minutes and come back with reasons, and I'm not going to criticise the players," said George.
"What I will say is I understand what goes with this job and that it's my responsibility, so I take responsibility. That performance wasn't good, so if you're judging it on Saturday, I'm not good enough."
Cambridge will have the opportunity to put things right when they host Telford this weekend.
