New Luton signing Ronnie Henry says it was the club's lofty ambitions that persuaded him to move to Kenilworth Road.
The 28-year-old recently helped Stevenage to the League One play-offs but after failing to agree a new deal at Broadhall Way, accepted a two-year contract with the resurgent Hatters.
Henry say he had a number of offers from both League Two and Blue Square Premier sides but he elected to join Luton due to the ambitions of boss Paul Buckle.
"I'm happy to be here," Henry told the Hatters' official website. "I've left a League 1 club where I've had a lot of success and the main reason why I've come here is because I can see Luton going further.
"Having spoke with Paul Buckle, and heard his intentions, there's only one thing in my mind and that's us getting promotion," he added.
