Lincoln City have completed the signing of experienced forward Colin Larkin on a free transfer.
The former Hartlepool striker, who has played all his football in the Football League, has signed a one-year deal at Sincil Bank after impressing the Imps management during training. Larkin, 30, could be in David Holdsworth's squad to face Macclesfield this afternoon and the boss is hoping the forward can provide the extra firepower Lincoln need in front of goal. "We do require goals and Colin's come for all the right reasons," he told BBC Radio Lincolnshire. "He's fit and ready to go, which is a really important factor. He's a very good addition to our squad." He added: "It's nice to be able to bring in a guy who's 30 years old but very quick and very able. As a manager, it's nice for me to be able to attract that type of player."
