Law apologises to fans
Blue Square Premiership,
Alfreton Town boss Nicky Law has apologised to the club's supporters for his team's performance in their 5-1 defeat at Dartford.
Law had spent most of the week proceeding Saturday's game calling for a response from his players, following their previous 3-0 loss to Nuneaton but they once again failed to produce the goods.
The coach has now apologised to the Reds fans for his side's abysmal performance and has compared some of their play to a Sunday league team.
"I don't mean to be disrespectful to Sunday teams or Scouts, but you would not see goals like that in one of their games," he said. "They spent a lot of time and money getting here and for me, the players owe them an apology. What can I do? I can only apologise to them like I did last time."
