Stockport County have confirmed the departure of Sean McConville from Edgeley Park by mutual consent.
The 23-year-old joined the Hatters in the summer of 2011 following his release by Accrington Stanley and went on to make 23 appearances for the club, scoring four times, before he joined Rochdale on loan in March until the end of the campaign. A statement on the club's official website said: "With three weeks left in the summer transfer window, the former Accrington player is now free to sign for another club, and has recently spent a week on trial at League One side Rochdale."
