Merseyside duo await BSP teams in Cup
Blue Square Premiership,
Mansfield and Lincoln will replay for the right to face Liverpool while Hereford could meet Everton in the FA Cup third round.
Mansfield will face Brendan Rodgers' side at the One Call Stadium if they can defeat the Imps in a replay and, with the game almost certain to be televised, it could guarantee the hard-up Stags a substantial pay-day.
Mansfield were almost knocked out of the competition on Saturday before an injury-time equaliser secured the replay for a club who have had a winding-up order issued against them.
Mansfield boss Paul Cox is already dreaming of the prospect of meeting Rodgers and securing a huge financial boost for the North Nottinghamshire club
He said: "It's an unbelievable tie for the club and the town, it's beyond all our wildest dreams."
Liverpool, beaten finalists in May, last won the FA Cup in 2006 and have suffered embarrassing defeats against lower league opposition, including Northampton in the Carling Cup two years ago and, famously, Worcester in 1959.
Meanwhile, Hereford, relegated to the Blue Square Premier last season, will entertain Liverpool's Merseyside rivals Everton at home if they can overcome Cheltenham Town.
