Pipe inspired by Wembley

Newport midfielder David Pipe admits appearing at Wembley has inspired him and hopes it can spur the club on.

The Welsh club's first-ever Wembley outing ended in a 2-0 FA Trophy final defeat by York, with second-half goals from Matty Blair and Lanre Oyebanjo seeing off the challenge of plucky Newport.
"If you can't take away this occasion, even though we've lost, and turn it into a positive then you're in the wrong game," said Pipe.
"If you come here and it doesn't enthral you to come again in the cup and also getting in the league then there's something wrong with you."
The former Wales international confirmed he will be staying at Newport next season.
"I'll be signing on the dotted line this week," insisted Pipe.
