Sharp eyes starting role
Blue Square Premiership,
Telford United striker Chris Sharp hopes to be in the action from the off when his side face Ebbsfleet in the league on Tuesday night.
Following a hernia operation at the start of the Blue Square Bet Premier season, Sharp has been working his way back into manager Andy Sinton's plans.
Sharp is waiting for his first competitive start of the campaign and the 26-year-old is hoping to earn a starting role against struggling Ebbsfleet next week.
He told the Shropshire Star: "I'm getting no reaction to my injury. I feel really good so I'm just ready to kick on now and get more competitive minutes under my belt and see where we go from there."
