Sinton puts date on striker return

AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton says he expects striker Chris Sharp to be back in action before the end of the month.

Despite a strong pre-season, the forward has yet to appear this term after undergoing a hernia operation in August. However, he has now returned to training and the boss is confident that he'll be ready for action before the end of September. "He's started work. He's been cycling on the bike," Sinton said. "From the date of operation the surgeon said four weeks so he is post nine days now. "He will be three weeks away from being fit to play. It's a positive step."
