West Brom star Jonathan Greening says Bolton boss Gary Megson should not be booed by Albion fans when he returns to The Hawthorns.
Megson returns to the club he managed for four years between 2000 and 2004 on Saturday when he takes Bolton to the West Midlands and he is expected to get a mixed reception at best from the home fans.
But Greening is one who has urged the Baggies fans to show Megson a bit of respect and not boo their successful ex-manager.
"The criticism he gets is totally unfair," said the midfielder. "He is a really good manager. He went to Bolton last year and they were probably favourites to go down and he saved them and he never got the credit he deserved.
"This year he has done really well with the resources he has and they are above the relegation zone at the moment. He's underestimated as a manager.
"Gary brought me to West Brom and it was the best decision I have ever made and I enjoyed working with him, even though he left after seven or eight games.
"A lot of people have had things to say about him but he wanted his players to give 120 per cent and I enjoyed working for him."
