Bolton are being linked with a move for Barcelona defender Sylvinho, who could be set for a return to the Premiership.
The 34-year-old had a successful two-year spell with Arsenal before joining Barcelona and reports now claim he could be ready for another crack at the Premiership with Bolton, Fulham and Newcastle all said to be interested.
The Brazilian could be surplus to requirements in the summer and if that is the case he is ready to move on rather than sit on the bench and pick up his wage.
"I still have a really good relationship with Barcelona and I love it here," the player revealed. "But I have still got a lot to offer in football terms on the pitch, not just as a squad member.
"Let's just wait and see what happens."
Gary Megson will be looking to draft in a host of new faces again in the summer but signing Sylvinho would go against his policy of bringing in younger players and a move looks unlikely.
