Bolton tipped to switch targets

Bolton Wanderers, 15:50, July 5, 2009 ,

Bolton are tipped to end their interest in Swansea midfielder Ferrie Bodde amid reports they now want Man City's Gelson Fernandes.

The Trotters have not been able to tempt the Swans into a deal for Dutchman Bodde with the clubs thought to be around £1.5m apart in the valuations of the 27-year-old.
And now Reebok chief Gary Megson is contemplating making an offer for out-of-favour City midfielder Fernandes as an alternative.
The Swiss star is rated at around £3m and seemingly has no future at Eastland, with Nigel de Jong, Stephen Ireland and Gareth Barry ahead of him in the pecking order.
