Dougie sticks with winning formula
Dougie Freedman insists Bolton have stuck to their normal methods of preparation ahead of Saturday's crunch npower Championship clash with Blackpool.
A ninth consecutive home win for Wanderers would secure a play-off berth, barring an improbably heavy defeat for Leicester at the hands of Nottingham Forest.
It would cap a remarkable turn of fortunes for a side that languished in 20th place as recently as February and Freedman believes this is no time to deviate from meticulously mapped-out plans for his in-form squad.
"It's the same as usual, we'll prepare in exactly the same way," he said.
"Our programme has suggested over the last month that training intensity should come down, which we've done. We'd have done that whatever position we're in.
"Our programme tells us exactly what to do in the last week of the season and it's been like that for many months. We've done exactly what the programme says - intensity has come down, preparation is exactly the same, the freshness is around them.
"The lads are very relaxed in terms of having been in this position for the last three months - having to win games of football.
"They're very comfortable in what they've got to do on Saturday."
