Early Royals visit for Wanderers
Bolton's first home match of the new Championship season is a meeting with relegated Reading.
Wanderers already knew their first match is a trip to Burnley after the Football League announced six special fixtures to be played on the opening weekend of the season to mark its 125th anniversary.
The Royals head to the Reebok Stadium on August 10, followed by an away game against Nottingham Forest and a home clash with another relegated team, QPR.
The Trotters head to Barnsley on Boxing Day and host Middlesbrough on New Year's Day.
The final away match of the season is at Sheffield Wednesday on April 26 before the campaign ends at home to Birmingham.
