Bolton boss Gary Megson has hailed the performances of Gavin McCann and says he deserves his place in the first-team.
McCann has been one of Bolton's most consistent performers in the midfield this season and was recently voted man-of-the-match in the 3-1 victory at West Ham.
Megson believes the midfielder has improved this season and has urged him to keep on putting in the performances.
"Gavin's doing really well," Megson told the club's website. "This is his most consistent form for Bolton since he joined the club. He seem a lot more enthusiastic and he is going about the game in the right way and consequently has been staying in the team.
"He's performing really well and he has to continue to do so."
