Midfielder deal done
Bolton have completed the signing of Nigel Reo-Coker on a free transfer after the midfielder penned a two-year deal.
Wanderers have been locked in talks with the 27-year-old for the last few days following his release from Aston Villa and Trotters boss Owen Coyle has finally landed his man.
There had been interest from clubs throughout Europe but Reo-Coker has opted to stay in the Premier League and becomes Coyle's second signing of the summer following on from the arrival of Darren Pratley.
The midfielder could even make a surprise debut when Bolton make the short trip to Gigg Lane to take on Bury this evening.
Coyle is now expected to wrap up deals for Burnley duo Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears before quickly turning his attentions to Liverpool striker David Ngog.
