Midfielder hit by season KO

Bolton midfielder Sean Davis says he will not play again this season after suffering knee ligament damage.
Davis has been told he could return in April if all goes well with his rehabilitation but the midfielder says he will not rush his comeback and would rather take things slowly to make sure he is 100 percent fit.
"I know I am not going to play again this season," he told The Bolton News. "To have had an injury for this long, I would rather see it out and be 100 percent for pre-season. Hopefully, if everything goes right, I should be back in April but for me, I don't want to rush it.
"If everything is going well then, fine, but I don't want to have an operation like that and then mess it up. It would be pointless. I want to play everything by the book."
