Bolton midfielder Keith Andrews believes that their pre-season tour of Scotland served it purpose, despite some poor results.

The Trotters have returned from North of the boarder without a win in three. However, experienced Andrews says that the results don't tell the full story and the squad is ready to make the step back up to the Premier League. The poor results of two 1-1 draws and a 2-0 defeat show no signs for concern for the 31-year-old as he prepares for the weekends clash against lower league opposition Crewe Alexandra.

"The good thing is that we are creating chances. It would be a different story if we weren't getting in the right positions," Andrews told the Bolton Wanderers Official Site.
"We've had three good workouts in the space of seven or eight days, some tough training sessions and some good time to get to know each other - it's been a very good week."
