Bolton captain Kevin Nolan is back from suspension to face his boyhood favourites Liverpool at the Reebok Stadium tomorrow.
The Trotters skipper served a one-match ban during last weekend's 1-0 victory at Hull but he should make an immediate return to Gary Megson's starting line-up.
The Wanderers boss has no new fitness concerns but is being tipped to revert back to the usual 4-5-1 at home with his captain returning at Johan Elmander's expense.
Nolan was discarded by Liverpool as a schoolboy, but that has done little to dampen his enthusiasm for the club.
He said: "I got a bit of stick for that but I loved Steve McManaman and John Barnes as well and, being a Liverpool lad, I always want both Liverpool and Everton to do well."
Liverpool will make several changes with Jose Reina, Jamie Carragher, Javier Mascherano, Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt, Robbie Keane and Xabi Alonso returning to the starting line-up, which could also include Fernando Torres.
