Striker hit by injury blow

Bolton Wanderers, 17:20, February 1, 2010 ,

Bolton have been rocked by the news Ivan Klasnic could be facing a month on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

The Croatian striker picked up an ankle injury during the 1-0 victory over Burnley last Tuesday night and broke down again in training on Friday ahead of the Liverpool game.
Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has confirmed that Klasnic could now be out for a month meaning he will miss the Premier League games against Fulham, Manchester City and Wigan, and the FA Cup fifth round tie at home to either Spurs or Leeds United.
Coyle was hoping to draft in a striker on loan before the window closed but ran out of time and will now go with what he has got for the rest of the season.
