Striker signing race hots up

Bolton are facing a battle to keep hold of teenage sensation Jack Sampson as Manchester United have started to show an interest.
Sampson may only be 15 but he is already rated as one of the brightest prospects in English football and a number of rival clubs are casting an envious eye towards the Reebok Stadium.
Bolton are desperate to keep hold of the young striker but are unable to tie him down to a pro deal at his age and United along with a host of other clubs could nip in.
The England youth international will decide in the next few weeks where he will begin his pro career and the Trotters are hoping he will stay loyal to them and pen a deal.
Manchester City, Tottenham and Newcastle are also said to be keen.
