Trotters moving on up - Cahill

Bolton Wanderers, 17:15, October 5, 2009 ,

Gary Cahill believes Bolton are moving in the right direction and the squad is full of confidence going into the international break.

Wanderers are unbeaten in their last four matches, with draws against Stoke and Tottenham and wins at Portsmouth and Birmingham, which has seen them move up to 13th in the Premier League table.
Up next for Gary Megson's men is a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United, which will provide Bolton with a good test of how they have progressed over recent weeks.
Those eyeing a free bet on Bolton will note that Cahill, who has been touted as a potential England squad member for next year's World Cup, believes Wanderers can sustain their recent run and revealed the spirit in the camp is high.
Speaking to the club's website, Cahill said: "We have kept the run going and haven't lost now for five matches. It breeds confidence when you are winning and drawing games.
"We've got the international break and then a challenging month of fixtures, so it's important that we keep producing performances like this especially going into the game against Manchester United."
Bolton are also still in the Carling Cup and will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the fourth round, with that game taking place on Wednesday October 28.
