Arter in, Fogden out

Bournemouth will be without midfielder Wes Fogden when they take on Scunthorpe in npower League One this weekend.

Fogden is set to see a specialist to determine whether or not he requires surgery on a shoulder injury he picked up in training recently. However, what is certain is that the former Havant & Waterlooville man will not play for the Cherries again this term. Carataker manager Paul Groves will be buoyed by the return from suspension of Harry Arter, who has completed a three-game ban, but striker Matt Tubbs remains sidelined following an operation on his hamstring. Stephen Purches will not be fit until next year following his double leg break and Charlie Sheringham is still ruled with a foot injury.
