Bournemouth manager Paul Groves has warned Harry Arter to cut out the petulance following the midfielder's dismissal in his side's 1-1 home draw with Preston.
Arter, 22, was sent off for two yellow cards in the first half before Bournemouth defender Tommy Elphick's headed goal early in the second period was cancelled out by Preston substitute Akpo Sodje in the 76th minute. Groves said: "He's shown good energy and good quality at times and has an enthusiastic desire to his game, closing players down and making challenges. "But he's got to address this problem of collecting yellow cards. There's a petulant side to his game and he's got to sort it out. "He was initially booked for kicking the ball away, which is stupid, and then again five minutes later for a challenge."
