Caretaker manager Paul Groves was left frustrated after his side conceded the lead late on in the 1-1 home draw with Colchester

Tom Eastman snatched a late equaliser for the visitors in the 83rd minute after turning-in substitute Michael Rose's driven cross, to cancel out Shaun MacDonald's 11th-minute opener. Groves said: "We had opportunities. I think the disappointing thing is you want to give the home fans something to get behind and I thought we lacked energy to get behind the ball and give them a little bit more of a problem, and get hold of the game in terms of backing the play up and causing them problems in and around their box." Although he is fast becoming a favourite among the fans, Groves insists that he does not know whether he will become the Cherries full-time manager. He added: "We just take it one game at a time. At this moment in time, our remit is to take them to the end of the season and that's what we'll do. "We'll just look to continue to work with the players and try to improve things as we go along."
