Things did not go to plan for Paul Groves as his side were beaten on penalties in the Capital One Cup by League Two side Oxford.

Marc Pugh saw his penalty saved by U's goalkeeper Ryan Clarke, before Damien Batt's spot-kick knocked the visitors out of the competition.
Groves blamed the lack of an end product for the result, as Bournemouth failed to progress to the second round for the sixth time in seven seasons.
Groves said: "In the first 45 minutes they were better than us.
"You've got to work the goalkeeper more than we did. The cutting edge is where it matters and it wasn't there enough from us. Things broke down too many times."
