Versatile defender James Meredith is set to join Bradford when his contract at York expires on July 1.
Meredith made over 150 appearances in three seasons for the Minstermen, including their recent FA Trophy final victory over Newport and Blue Square Bet Premier play-off final win against Luton, which secured promotion to the Football League. Bantams boss Phil Parkinson told the club's official website: "I'm really pleased to have James on board. He's a young, hungry player with a great attitude. "He is a good athlete and can play in several positions, although he's predominately a left-back."
