Rosler demands more of young Bees

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler feels he has a talented young squad capable of making the play-off places - but believes they should be doing even better.

The German, hoping to draft in a striker on loan next week, was frustrated to see them denied a first away win by a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw at struggling Scunthorpe. After Clayton Donaldson had fired a penalty wide, a great solo effort after 37 minutes from Harry Forrester had the Bees buzzing until a 77th-minute equaliser from Scunthorpe's on-loan striker Leon Clarke, his sixth goal in eight games, saved the home side from a fourth successive defeat. "This was a game we should have won, Scunthorpe were never in control of it," said Rosler. "But I have been saying the same thing now seven or eight times this season. "I think it was a good performance, but once again we have failed to kill the game off. We have a talented young squad of players who I am excited to be working with." Rosler said he hoped to boost his attack next week, adding: "Everything is agreed, but the papers are not yet signed so I cannot tell you who it is."
