Brighton have signed Spanish right-back Bruno Saltor from Valencia.
The 31-year-old arrives at the Amex Stadium on a free transfer, signing a two-year deal with the Championship club. Saltor made 17 appearances for Valencia last season, including both legs of their Europa League knockout encounter against Stoke. He is reunited with playmaker Vicente Rodriguez, who it is hoped will remain on the south coast this summer, after the pair played together for the La Liga side. Boss Gus Poyet told the club's official website: "Bruno has a great amount of top-level experience in La Liga, the Champions League and the Europa League, and to bring a player of his quality is a coup for us. "He will give us competition at right-back, along with Inigo Calderon, and the pair of them give us great options in that position."
