Seagulls oust Adams
Brighton and Hove Albion, 12:57, February 21, 2009 ,
Mickey Adams has left struggling League One outfit Brighton by mutual consent.
The Seagulls have been struggling near the foot of League One and both Adams and chairman Dick Knight have decided it is in the best interests of the club if they parted company.
Knight released the following statement: "Nobody would dispute that results have been disappointing and I am very sad, as all Albion fans will be, that things haven't worked out."
Dean White and Bob Booker have been placed in charge of first-team affairs for Saturday's game against Millwall and Tuesday's clash with Northampton, while Knight begins his search for Adams' successor.
