City to face Saints

Bristol City will host Premier League newcomers Southampton as part of their pre-season preparations.

Championship runners-up Saints will visit Ashton Gate on August 7.
The game takes City's first-team schedule to six summer fixtures ahead of the 2012/13 campaign, which kicks off on August 14 with a League Cup tie.
Derek McInnes' side will also host city rivals Bristol Rovers on August 4 as well as travelling to face St Johnstone (July 28), Dundee (July 30), Dunfermline (August 1) and Bournemouth (August 11).
