Cumbrians snub for City striker

Bristol City, 19:19, November 18, 2008

Jennison Myrie-Williams has returned to Bristol City after Carlisle chose not to extend his loan spell at Brunton Park.

The 20-year-old spent two months up north but made only three starts and seven substitute appearances during his time there - and his chances dried up once John Ward was sacked.

Carlisle's caretaker boss Greg Abbott has opted not to extend the frontman's loan and he will now compete for an opportunity with the rest of Gary Johnson's strikers.
