Johnson enjoys FA fate

Bristol City, 18:29, January 5, 2009 ,

Gary Johnson hopes to lead Bristol City past Portsmouth and on to face his old club Histon for a possible FA Cup fourth-round tie.

The City manager used to play for the non-leaguers and, while both clubs are yet to progress from the third round, a potential meeting adds incentive.
He told BBC Radio Bristol: "It's a good draw. You can't get too excited but I hope it's Histon for personal reasons."
Histon must overcome Swansea City in their postponed third round tie first, while City entertain Pompey in the replay at Ashton Gate next Tuesday - to be screened live on Setanta Sports.
