Bristol City boss Gary Johnson admits he plans to leave no stone unturned in his bid to strengthen the Robins squad after Christmas.
Johnson is currently sifting through a collection of videos sent to him by agents and admits his TV will be working overtime throughout December.
He told the club's website: "We are sent hundreds of videos of players every month and we look at them all. It is a matter of sifting through them carefully and knowing who you are dealing with at the other end because every agent is trying to get their players at clubs over here.
"Obviously, the secret is to spot good young players and pick them up before they become big stars.
"Buying potential is cheaper than paying for the finished article and clubs like Bristol City have to get them before they become big names."
