McIndoe given Tykes chance
Bristol City, 12:30, January 30, 2009 ,
Star midfielder Marvin Elliott has a torn groin muscle and will not play against Barnsley at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
The Ashton Gate favourite faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after scans revealed he suffered a torn groin muscle in the 2-0 victory over Plymouth in midweek.
Michael McIndoe, who came on as a replacement for Elliott at Home Park, is likely to be given the nod again by manager Gary Johnson against one of his former clubs.
Johnson has signed Izzy Iriekpen on a deal until the end of the season and he will be included in the squad, while Jamie McAllister will be available despite being booked for the fifth time this season at Home Park.
