McInnes: A point gained

Bristol City boss Derek McInnes was in philosophical mood after seeing his side surrender a two-goal advantage to draw 2-2 with high-flying Birmingham.
The Robins flew into the lead courtesy of Stephen Pearson's 20-yard strike and John Stead's effort, but Marlon King reduced the arrears before half-time and Nikola Zigic netted the leveller just past the hour mark.
However, McInnes, whose side are unbeaten in five, said: "In our situation it was a point gained. Before the game we thought a point would be a good result coming to a place like Birmingham.
"They have only lost one league home game this season. We got ourselves into a very good position to win with two terrific goals with a fantastic first-half performance.
"In our position we have to be upbeat although it was disappointing not to get all three points. We now have to make sure we build upon this result and keep our unbeaten run going.
"Against Birmingham we showed confidence and assurance with the ball and we got a good result."
