Robins relaxed in manager search

Bristol City, 17:26, April 15, 2010 ,

Bristol City's caretaker boss Keith Millen insists the club are under no pressure to appoint Gary Johnson's successor at Ashton Gate.

Millen will again take charge of the side when Bristol City take on Scunthorpe on Saturday and he has already stated he is keen on taking the job on permanently, although he is yet to formally apply for the vacancy.
The likes of former Reading boss Steve Coppell and Alan Curbishley, whose CV includes spells with Charlton and West Ham, have been linked with the manager's job at Ashton Gate but Millen claims the club are in no hurry to make a permanent appointment.
Speaking to the BBC, he said: "There is no pressure, no panic to get someone in for Scunthorpe or get someone in for Derby. Things are going well,
"The chairman is still discussing different things with people."
