Robins set to raid Saints
Bristol City, 10:49, May 18, 2009 ,
Bristol City are set to swoop for Southampton goalkeeper Kelvin Davis because the relegated side can't offer him a new deal.
The 32-year-old is out of contract at Southampton and, although the Saints want to keep him, they can't offer him a new deal until the club have a new owner in place.
The former Luton Town and Wimbledon keeper is available on a Bosman transfer and Bristol City have become the latest club to be linked with him, with League One side Leeds United also thought to be interested.
Davis is thought to be reluctant to leave the Hampshire area and is in line for a new three-year deal but is said to be considering his options while on holiday.
