Shriver riddle rumour

Bristol City, 20:43, December 17, 2008 ,

City's trialist Pete Shriver is believed to be Slovakian striker Peter Styvar - the player who scored a winning Uefa Cup goal recently.

The name on the teamsheet was Shriver as the strong-looking frontman netted three times in the Robins' reserves 6-2 Combination League victory over Exeter City this week.
But sources suggest the player is actually 28-year-old MSK Zilina striker Styvar - who bagged the winner against Aston Villa in a recent European clash.
Winger Scott Murray marked his return from a three-month loan spell at Cheltenham with a goal, while Lee Trundle scored twice in a one-sided encounter at St James Park, watched by Gary Johnson.
